Beating the bounds

You're invited to the annual Beating of the Bounds which has coincided with the Heritage Society Open Day for many years, as part of our commitment to our parish and our place here in Hextable. The annual village Beating of the Bounds walk will take place this year on Saturday 14 September starting at 10 am from St Peters Church. Andy and Christine Proudlove have kindly agreed to lead it. The distance of just under 5 miles will take approximately 2 hours for those wishing to cover the entire route finishing at the Heritage Centre.

The walk takes in wonderful views of the countryside surrounding our village. Local residents should wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a bottle of water. We will have the support of the Hextable Hub and the Parish Council also the Scouts. Last year lots of residents took part although not everyone walked the full distance! All things are optional! The route is not too demanding, see you next Saturday for a community walk about!
