Road works

You're invited to walk or carshare and-or park even more wisely around Sunday and midweek groups if possible! There's four-way traffic lights around the crossroads here in Hextable, as you'll have spotted that they’re replacing the gas main along Swanley Lane and Main Rd: as you’ve probably sat behind one of the multiple sets of temporary lights that have appeared. They’ve now reached the mini roundabout at the end of College Rd and have four way controls in place. Of course this is creating significant congestion and it only wants a couple of vehicles unable to complete their journey through the roadworks to bring the whole thing to a halt. So in order to keep College Road as clear as possible can we ask that you avoid parking on College Road in front of St Peter’s and especially on Sunday whilst the traffic controls are in place. We want to live at peace with all our neighbours! As ever be aware that parking 5metres back from each of the junctions is legal good practice. This phase of the roadworks finishes potentially at the end of the month, with more information here https://kent.roadworks.org/
