Shine is the name for our women’s ministry at St Peter’s and St Paul’s. We meet on alternate months for a range of activities and events. Our events are informal gatherings where we seek to share life together in good and sometimes not so good times, through friendship and faith, and encouraging each other to be the best we can, so that we can ‘Shine’.

*Please check our diary below or visit our Facebook page for upcoming events.

Coming up shortly, on Friday 6th March Film Night! Ladies come and have a fun evening together watching ‘Downton Abbey the movie’, 7pm onwards, at St Peters Church- in the lounge. Feel free to bring a friend, and bring your own drinks and nibbles to share!

Our name ‘Shine’ is based on the words of Jesus from Mathew 5: 14 –16

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people

light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to

everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may

see your good deeds and glorify your father in Heaven”
